Brief history of Sri Parashurama Theertha
After succeeding Sri Sankarshana Theertha, Sri Parashurama Theertha lived in Srinagar for some time and later he traveled to South India.
He built an ashram in Sri Rangam in Tamil Nadu and helped the kings in their duties and stabilising the political condition. He stayed in Sri Rangam for more than 10 years.
He selected one of the scholars who visited him and made him as his successor. He also renamed the scholar as Sri Adiraja Theertha.
Later he was immortalized near Chanda Pushkarani near Sri Rangam.
